Satya Ayurveda Trust (SAT) is an independent, non-government and a not for profit organisation. The main objective of SAT is to provide education and a standard for the practice of Ayurveda as it is employed internationally in health spas, centres, clinics and hospitals, to ensure its safe, authentic, and effective use.
Dr.Robert E.Svoboda is the first Westerner ever to graduate from a college of Ayurveda and be licensed to practice Ayurveda in India. During and after his formal Ayurvedic training, Robert was tutored in Ayurveda, Yoga, Jyotish, Tantra and other forms of classical Indian lore by his mentor, the Aghori Vimalananda. The author of more than a dozen books, he lived in India for more than a decade, and continues to spend much of each year there.
Dr. Claudia Welch is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, an Ayurvedic practitioner and educator, and the author of Balance Your Hormones, Balance Your Life: Achieving Optimal Health and Wellness Through Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and Western Science. Dr. Welch lectures internationally on Oriental and Ayurvedic medicines and Women's Health, bringing a depth of knowledge and a sense of joy to her presentations. She has served on the teaching faculty of The Ayurvedic Institute, Kripalu School of Ayurveda, Southwest Acupuncture College, and Acupractice Seminars.
Dr. Sampath is the Managing Director of Arpitha Associates Pvt Ltd., a Center for Excellence with offices in Malaysia, Singapore, USA and India. Dr. Sampath is a quintessential learner. His years of personal research and observation have evolved into models of individual development and organizational development. Working with individuals with a fundamental process-oriented approach, Dr. Sampath's life and mission parallel facilitation of the movement towards wisdom in the quest for excellence, in all spheres of human activity. The conceptual understandings of 'Values Clarification for Change' and 'Learning for Nurturing Excellence' are the cornerstones of Dr. Sampath's work. He believes that clarity about one's values will help understand one's behavior and make 'change processes' more effective.
Hailing from a traditional Ayurveda family, Dr Ramkumar has continuously been occupied in promoting and strengthening Ayurveda, the primary health tradition of India for almost two decades. He is one of the Founder Members of Punarnava Ayurveda, an organization in South India that is committed to the cause of 'Authentic Ayurveda for Universal Well-Being'. He is now involved in the creation of vaidyagrama – an experimental eco-friendly authentic Ayurveda community on the outskirts of Coimbatore in south India.
